We loved the convenience of walking across the street to the “Corner Kitchen” and discovering one of the best places to eat breakfast ever!

Built during the early 1900’s, The Chapman House is an original cottage of Historic Biltmore Village. It is part of a picturesque manorial village planned by none other than George Washington Vanderbilt (1862-1914), the founder of the vast and awe inspiring Biltmore Estate. Initially, the European inspired village housed estate workers and servants. It was the center of community life, the location of schools, post office, train depot, infirmary, and church. Through time, the Village has evolved to become a center for art, music, shopping, and restaurants, just outside the entrance of the Biltmore Estate.
I loved my 2 weeks here. I had so many great experiences exploring the Asheville area. The Chapman House was always so pleasant to come home to – the apartment is charming.
